Tomorrow: Canvass for Shannon Braddock and the Seattle Ed Levy in West Seattle
The mid-term elections are less than two weeks away and there are labor-backed candidates up and down the ballot that need our support. The WSLC has Labor Neighbor events planned every weekend leading up to the election. See the full list here: http://www.thestand.org/calendar/
MLK Labor is sponsoring a Labor Neighbor Walk in West Seattle tomorrow to talk to Union voters about why we’re supporting Shannon Braddock for State Senate and the Seattle Families and Education Levy.

Support Striking Marriott Workers
Although Westin workers in Seattle reached a deal, 7,700 Marriott workers are still on strike in Boston, San Francisco, San Jose, San Diego, Oakland, Honolulu, Maui, and Detroit. These workers need our support!

MLK Labor Veterans Caucus
MLK Labor is starting a Veterans Caucus and having the first meeting next Thursday the VFW Post 1263 in Renton. We will be planning our participation in the Auburn Veterans Day Parade and along with other activities. This is open to all Union members.

Tonight: Casino Night to Support The Puget Sound Labor Agency
The Puget Sound Labor Agency is holding its first ever Fall Harvest Casino Night tonight to raise money to help with the search for a new home. It will begin at 7 PM and will be held at the Machinists 751 Hall (9125 15th Place S, Seattle, WA 98108).
