MLK Labor issued the following statement on the apparent decision by the supreme court to overrule Roe vs. Wade.

Despite the unjustified actions of the extremist right-wing supreme court, the labor movement will continue to fight for the rights of women to choose when it comes to abortion and other reproductive health care. To millions of working women, these rights are fundamental to their economic freedom and stability. Working and poor women will be hurt most by this attack on their freedom.

From attacks to organizing and voting rights to abortion rights, the supreme court has lost all credibility by pushing its out-of-touch agenda. Working people must stand united to push back on this strategy to push an anti-worker agenda through the courts.”
