Seattle City Council D6 Labor Forum at the June Delegates Meeting

At our June Delegates meeting, we’ll be hosting a labor forum for the candidates running for Seattle City Council in District 6. Confirmed candidates are Sergio Garcia, Jay Fathi, Dan Strauss, and Heidi Wills.

Join us on June 19 at the Seattle Labor Temple to hear from the candidates and how they would fight for working people at city hall.

Seattle Ride-Share Drivers Bring Demands for Fair Pay to City Hall

On Thursday, a caravan of dozens of Uber and Lyft drivers paraded through the streets of downtown Seattle to bring their demands for fair pay and a voice on the job to City Hall. These app-based ride-share drivers have been organizing with help from Teamsters 117 for years.
