Shoreline Community College is a place of open inquiry and learning, with a campus that models ideals set out in our Community Standard*. We are committed to upholding a culture of free expression, as well as maintaining a supportive and respectful learning and working environment for all.

Instructors teach college-level courses to transfer and vocational students. They also contribute to the College's efforts to improve student retention and success. Opportunities are available for teaching in learning communities, online, and in other non-traditional learning environments.

Successful applicants will be responsible for teaching College and Career Success (COL 101), which is a 3-credit course. This course aims to help new college students explore their interests, identify an academic path that will serve their goals, explore college resources, and develop a sense of community and interdependence with classmates. Instructors will be expected to participate in a paid onboarding experience prior to teaching. We offer this course in a variety of formats.
