Job Summary:
Eastern Washington University and the College of Health Science and Public Health invite applications for a Lecturer position to begin January 2023. Appointment for this position will begin with spring semester of the 2022-2023 academic year, and is renewable for subsequent annual appointments on the regular academic year cycle of mid-August through mid-May. The contract is renewable annually dependent on performance, need, and funding.

Lecturers are full-time faculty who are responsible for teaching in classroom, clinical, laboratory, and simulated learning environments. Lecturers teach courses in the nursing program and teach clinical courses/supervision, mentor student research and may perform service-related activities and scholarly activities if appropriate (not required). Lecturers follow all guidance from the collective bargaining agreement regarding their position. Teaching is the main responsibility, and the typical teaching load is 30 credit hours per academic year.

Additionally, all faculty are expected to actively participate in assessment of student learning and to engage in effective teaching.
