What you will be working on:

  • You'll ensure fiscal sustainability through strategic planning for program growth in consultation with the Vice President for Instruction; quarterly and annual goal setting, budget planning, ongoing revenue and expense tracking.
  • You'll identify and develop new revenue streams including but not limited to partnerships with training providers, online learning vendors, and/or college partners.
  • You'll oversee programming for an annual schedule of enrichment education, non-credit professional courses, and online learning options to meet community and program needs including identify new program areas, instructor recruiting and hiring, setting up new vendor partnerships, and determining classes/programs to add or cut.
  • You'll oversee marketing including target market identification, setting marketing budget, setting course prices, catalog review, website review, and content for social media marketing.
  • You'll oversee program operations including registration practices and procedures, instructor support, student evaluation review, and establishing new procedures as needed.
  • You'll oversee accounting practices including payroll, contractor invoices, annual purchase orders, annual service contracts, and following state and district mandates.
  • You'll develop and manage training opportunities that are requested by business, industry and agencies in collaboration with Executive Director of Corporate Training for Seattle Colleges and/or academic divisions; act as the college's point of contact for contract training.
  • You'll provide administration, student support and delivery for the Adult Family Home Administrator Program, including customer service, records management and compliance with DSHS regulation/contract, and participation in quarterly DSHS meetings regarding the program.
  • You'll collaborate with other campus leaders and community partners to offer new programming and integrate CE into the core of the North Seattle community; coordinate with campus and district leaders to advocate for the program and secure resources and support.
  • You'll provide supervision of all CE staff including recruitment, hiring, ongoing training and development, annual evaluations, and conflict resolution.
  • Other duties as assigned.
