Resolution Regarding the Gregory Awards

WHEREAS, the Gregory Awards have long been a source of community pride; and

WHEREAS, the Gregory Awards utilize many of our Trade Sector’s members currently; and

WHEREAS, the organizers of the Gregory Awards have pledged to utilize our MLK Labor Entertainment Trade Sector Union’s standard work agreements as soon as their previous contracts expire; and

WHEREAS, the organizers of the Gregory Awards have committed to sitting down with the appropriate MLK Labor affiliates and staff to build a positive and inclusive work agreement;

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that MLK Labor will contribute the amount of $500 to the Gregory Awards.
