Support Labor-Endorsed Candidates this Fall

2023 is a critical year for local elections in King County. Rank-and-file MLK Labor delegates have endorsed dozens of candidates who have committed to supporting the issues that matter to working families. All union members are invited to join us to support pro-worker candidates at doorknocking and phone bank events this fall.

  • September 23: 10 a.m. – Doorknocking in Burien and Highline. Meet at Moshier Park, 430 S 156th St., Burien
  • September 30: 10 a.m. – Doorknocking for Seattle candidates (Maren Costa for D1, Tammy Morales for D2, Joy Hollingsworth for D3, Ron Davis for D4, Dan Strauss for D6, Andrew Lewis for D7). Meet at the Seattle Labor Temple, 5030 1st Ave S., Seattle
  • October 7: 10 a.m. – Doorknocking in SeaTac and Tukwila. Meet at LiUNA! Local 242, 22323 Pacific Hwy S, Des Moines, WA 98198.
  • October 14: 10 a.m. – Doorknocking for Teresa Mosqueda for King County Council District 8 and Maren Costa for Seattle City Council District 1. Meet at the Delridge Community Center at Delridge 4458 Delridge Way SW, Seattle.
  • October 20: Ballots mailed
  • October 21: 10 a.m. – Doorknocking for Ron Davis for Seattle City Council District 4, Dan Strauss for Seattle City Council District 6, and Andrew Lewis for Seattle City Council District 7. Meet at Gasworks Park near the picnic shelter in Fremont, 2101 N Northlake Way, Seattle.
  • October 28: 9:45 a.m. – Door Knocking for Amber Wise (King County Public Hospital District 2). Meet at 132nd Square Park in Kirkland (13159 132nd Ave NE, Kirkland, WA 98034).
  • October 29: 9:45 a.m. – Doorknocking for Teresa Mosqueda for King County Council District 8 and Maren Costa for Seattle City Council District 1. Meet at the Delridge Community Center at Delridge 4458 Delridge Way SW, Seattle.
  • October 30: Online/mail registration deadline
  • October 31: 12:45 p.m. – Halloween Phone Banking and Costume Contest for the Seattle Housing Levy and Maren Costa for Seattle City Council District 1.
  • November 4: 9:45 a.m. – Doorknocking for Maren Costa (Seattle City Council District 1), Tammy Morales (Seattle City Council District 2), Joy Hollingsworth (Seattle City Council District 3), and Teresa Mosqueda (King County Council District 8) as well as the Seattle Housing Levy. Meet at Jimi Hendrix Park near the Red Wings sculpture in North Beacon Hill, 2400 S Massachusetts St., Seattle
  • November 5: 9:45 a.m. – Doorknocking for Anthony Berkley (Public Hospital Commission District 1). Meet at the Renton Community Center Parking lot by the baseball field (Cedar River Park, 1717 Maple Valley Hwy, Renton, WA 98057)
  • November 6: 5:30-8 p.m. – Seattle Housing Levy Phone Banking with Habitat for Humanity. Food will be provided. Meet at the Panoramic Center at Pacific Tower (1200 12th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144).
  • November 7: Election Day – Ballots due.
