MLK Labor Executive Secretary-Treasurer Katie Garrow issued the following statement on the 2025 Election Results.

“Election results in King County and across the nation send a clear and resounding message that working people are fed up with corrupt, anti-worker policies and the influence of billionaires in our government. Voters turned out in force to reject policies that erode worker protections and prioritize corporate interests over the needs of everyday Americans.

In King County, Labor-endorsed candidates excelled at a historic rate. Of the 58 candidates and initiatives endorsed by MLK Labor, 80 percent are on track to win their election, with several others in races too close to call. This election was the latest evidence to show the importance of earning the endorsement of the Labor community. Candidates who stood with working families and boldly defended union rights excelled in 2025.

MLK Labor congratulates all candidates for running for office and looks forward to working alongside those elected to make King County a better place to live, work, and raise a family.”
