Position Summary:

Sea Mar Behavioral Health’s diverse and quickly expanding program is seeking a Full-time Psychiatric Provider Aide for our location on 19th St Tacoma. The Psychiatric Aide assists in insuring that charts, prescription refill requests, and all information or paperwork the psychiatric prescriber will need is prepared and organized ahead of time. Also ensures medication storage, maintenance, dispensation of waste logs are maintained in accordance with policies and procedures.

The Psychiatric Aide (CNA) will assist psychiatric staff with client flow and provide quality of care in a timely manner. Prepares the patient for their office visits with the provider including obtaining subjective data and vital signs. Receives and processes medication refill requests from pharmacies by preparing refill requests fro provider review and approval, and ensures prescriptions are faxed to the pharmacy. Will be working as part of an integrated care team that may include psychiatrists, social workers, behavioral health professional and case managers. Other duties will be assigned upon hire.
