Local 76-493 is a collective of musicians. We have been a membership organization since 1890, administered by elected officers and an elected board of directors. Our goals are to communicate to each other about workplace needs, professional desires and collective power, educate each other about our rights, responsibilities and union power, facilitate obtaining those rights in our lives, organize for collective bargaining, and raise the public’s awareness of the value of music and musicians.

The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts of the United States, Its Territories, and Canada (IATSE) was founded in 1893. International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) Local 793 specifically represents television broadcast remote and studio employees. IATSE Local 793 provides experienced, skilled, trained, and certified professionals for Sports and Entertainment Broadcasting in Washington and Oregon.

The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) Theatrical Wardrobe Union (TWU) Local 887 represents costume shops and backstage wardrobe crews of Western Washington. Some of the employees our local represents work at: ACT, 5th Ave Theatre, Intiman, Mt. Baker Theatre, Seattle Children’s Theatre, Seattle Opera, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Pantages Theater, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Paramount Theatre, Moore Theatre, Village Theatre, Teatro ZinZanni, as well as work performed at McCaw Hall, Benaroya Hall, Meany Hall and Key Arena when requested.

IBEW Local 46 continues its proud tradition of quality craftsmanship, leadership in our community, excellent wages and benefits for members, and innovation in organizing the unrepresented. Local 46 jurisdiction includes King, Kitsap, Jefferson and Clallam Counties. Our main office is located in the Kent valley with a satellite office in Silverdale. Local 46 is composed of over 6,200 members in a variety of craft units.

The International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) is a labor union which primarily represents dock workers on the West Coast of the United States, Hawaii, and in British Columbia, Canada.

The International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) is a progressive, diversified trade union that primarily represents operating engineers, who work as heavy equipment operators, mechanics, and surveyors in the construction industry, and stationary engineers, who work in operations and maintenance in building and industrial complexes, and in the service industries.

SEIU6 members are janitors who clean office buildings in King, Pierce, Snohomish, and Spokane counties and security officers in downtown Seattle, Bellevue, and greater King County suburbs. SEIU6 also represents retail workers, stadium workers, and barbers in other private sectors within our region.

SEIU 775 represents more than 45,000 long-term care workers providing quality home care, nursing home care, and residential services in Washington and Montana.

Since being founded in 2002, by uniting together, standing strong, and making our voices heard, caregivers have doubled wages – and experienced caregivers earn even more. But we’re not stopping there! Every time we go back to the bargaining table, we’re fighting for better wages, healthcare, PTO, paid family leave, L&I, retirement, and the right for those we care for to live dignified lives.

The Northwest Regional Council of SMART focuses efforts to enhance job opportunities, wages, benefits and working conditions for our members. At the very heart of our existence and for 132 years, our Union exists to serve its members. External pressures that would seek to exploit working men and women are relentless. To take better advantage of our combined resources and strength is one of the reasons for this Regional Council. The Regional Council jurisdiction covers Sheet Metal Workers Local Union’s 16, 23, 55, 66 and 103.

Teamsters 117 is one of the most powerful, diverse, and dynamic unions in the Pacific Northwest. With over 17,000 members, we have grown to become the second largest Teamsters local in the country. United Association Local 32 is a Labor Organization whose primary function is to improve the lives of pipe trades workers. That’s right. We are Organized Labor. UFCW 3000 is the largest private-sector union in Washington with over 46,000 members working in grocery store retail health care and other industry jobs. UFCW 21 is a chartered member of UFCW International with over 1.4 million workers in North America. We believe in the promise of America. A promise that our children can lead better lives than ours. A promise that with hard work and standing up for our rights we can make a decent living that includes a good wage health care and retirement.

UNITE HERE Local 8 represents about 5,000 workers in the hospitality industries of Oregon & Washington State. Local 8 members work in hotels, restaurants, food service, and airport concessions. They include room cleaners, cooks, bartenders, bellmen, food and beverage servers, bussers, and dishwashers. Local 8′s parent union, UNITE HERE, represents hotel, food service, and gaming workers throughout the US and Canada.
