Position Summary:

Full-time Infant Case Manager position available for our Maternity Support Services (MSS) Program in Everett and Monroe. This position requires flexibility, initiative and ability to manage time, resources and client caseload.  The individual in this position works closely with new parents of infants’ ages (2 to 12 months old). The Case Manager must have identified risk factors.  The Case Manager provides services to minimize the impacts associated with these risk factors and to increase the family’s self-sufficiency and empowerment.

The Case Manager must have ability to recognize, support and describe healthy parenting from a family strengths perspective.  Must recognize the parent as the child’s first teacher and convey the importance of early interaction as the foundation of later learning.  Must have knowledge regarding post-partum depression, social isolation and mental health concerns.  Must have understanding and respect for cultural differences as well as diverse kinds of families.

This position involves assisting client with accessing resources such as housing, food, clothing, childcare, transportation, education, employment, medical providers, social services, interpreter services and other related health issues with the goal of maximizing the new child’s health and well-being.
