GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The server is responsible for promptly greeting and attending to the dining needs of the Member and guest. The server will offer the Member and guest all dining options available, submit the orders to the Kitchen and serve the selections in a professional and timely manner. The server will process all Member and guest checks through the POS System. The server will assist in the maintenance of all service areas of the dining room. The server will work as a team member with other dining and service staff to model WAC values and contribute to the mission and vision.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
The Washington Athletic Club (WAC) is a members-only health club featuring extensive amenities such as fitness centers, a stunning pool, three restaurants, a hotel, a spa, banquet halls, and more. Built in 1930, our beautifully maintained 21-story building is a unique national historic landmark located in downtown Seattle. It is truly a city within a city!
UNITE HERE Local 8 represents about 5,000 workers in the hospitality industries of Oregon & Washington State. Local 8 members work in hotels, restaurants, food service, and airport concessions. They include room cleaners, cooks, bartenders, bellmen, food and beverage servers, bussers, and dishwashers.
