Essential Functions: Responsible for all food quality and production on assigned station. Ability to prepare and serve quality and consistent food products according to service standards while maintaining temperature guidelines as provided by guests.
Experience & Skills Required: Five years cooking experience, trained in all areas, ability to read and comprehend instructions given in English, strong attention to detail and good communication skills. Job requires a valid food handler’s card within 14 days of employment.
Must complete a practical cooking test consisting of cooking fish/meat to proper doneness, organization, hand speed, product knowledge, knife skills and cleanliness.
Other Ideal Qualifications: Culinary school training preferred but not required.
Physical Demands: Ability to walk, stand, reach, and lift entire shift in a warm/hot environment. Ability to lift 20 pounds, 10 pounds over head. Typical shift is 8 hours.
