Job Summary
The Department of Curriculum, Supervision, & Educational Leadership (CSEL) at Central Washington University (CWU) invites applications for a Full-Time Tenure Track Assistant/Associate Professor in Teacher Education to begin September 2022. Candidates will teach primarily undergraduate courses in Education Foundations in at least 3 of the following areas: (introduction to education, instructional methods, classroom management, assessment, multicultural education, educational technology, and educational law). Additional responsibilities include academic advising, scholarly activity, participating in departmental program development and assessment, and professional service, including committee work. Some graduate-level teaching may be included. Faculty will integrate CWU's commitment to diversity and create a learning environment that is welcoming, accessible and inclusive for all students.
The Department of Curriculum, Supervision, and Educational Leadership has a long tradition of preparing teachers and school administrators. Due to program growth and faculty retirements, we are searching for a candidate who can teach a variety of Education Foundation classes.
