Job Summary:

LWTech is recruiting a Nursing Assistant Certified adjunct faculty to join the Nursing Programs team. The Nursing Assistant Program prepares graduates in multiple professional practice roles to be collaborative and caring as they assist each client to maximize health throughout their lifespan. The nursing education program teaches students to critically reason and prepares graduates who hold competencies in the knowledge, values, and skills necessary for professional practice.

Position:
This is a part-time, theory, skill lab and clinical nursing assistant instructor position. Scheduled, hours and dates may vary, and will be establish based upon assignment. Schedules shifts may include: day or evening shifts, weekdays or weekends. Teaching assignments may include the laboratory and /or clinical learning environment. This position is scheduled to begin upon selection.

Essential Functions:Prepare and teach Nursing Assistant in accordance with college catalog, schedule of classes, course outlines, course syllabi, and any departmental guidelines;

  • Provide quality teaching including related preparation and grading;
  • Provide class syllabi to students enrolled in classes and to the division office as requested;
  • Maintain accurate records of students and complete forms as required;
  • Lecture, lab and/or clinical instruction;
  • Attend quarterly department meetings;
  • Ensure punctual communication with students, faculty, and staff;
  • Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
