National Dues Administrator/Data Processing

Our National office is accepting applications to fill our Dues Administrator position.


This is a full-time permanent position at our union office at 5215 Ballard Ave NW ,Seattle



Primary responsibility is to maintain the membership database system (TrackIt): union member dues payment processing and union membership records custodian. 

Solicit and/or collect dues payments remitted by employers and from individual members, via mail, electronically (credit card processing/direct deposit), and in-person; prepare a weekly bank deposit reconciled with accounting department.  Answering phone calls and directing to proper person in organization.

Other responsibilities include general administrative support to National Officers, support on special projects (union elections, membership mailings, union conventions, etc.) and occasional assistance to accounting department.



5+ years clerical/administrative support experience or education equivalent.

Ideal candidate proficient in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).  

Strong organizational, record keeping, data entry, accounting and clerical skillset (filing, composition); familiar with office equipment; effective time management; attention to detail; ability to work independently and willingness to lend a hand as needed.  Professional and courteous phone manner a must.


Union and/or social justice knowledge and experience helpful; web page support experience a plus.


Job Type:            Full-Time-Permanent

Salary:                 Hourly Rate $30.41 Weekly $1,064.39 Raise after six months

Benefits:             Medical, Pension, Vacation, Sick leave
