Description
Meat Wrapper’s main responsibilities are:

Wrapping and pricing meat products.

Ensure products in tray meet managers specifications for size and appearance.
-
Ensure labels have correct prices and product descriptions.
-
Constantly check the display areas to ensure they are stocked with fresh products and communicate with meat cutters when display inventory is low.
-
Prepare merchandise for the following days according to the department standards.

Monitor wrapping supplies to ensure adequate stock of items.
-
Maintain cleanliness of display and working areas.

Answer customer questions regarding menu suggestions, portions, cooking techniques.
Qualifications
Requirements/Qualifications:

Excellent customer service and communication skills.
-
Able to lift 50 pounds, standing, bending, working in cooler.
-
Able to learn to identify all meat and related merchandise.
-
Ability to use pricing machines and pricing guns.
-
Ability to work independently while contributing to the team as a whole.
