The UW MEDICAL CENTER – MONTLAKE – OPERATING ROOM DEPARTMENT has an outstanding opportunity for a FULL-TIME ELECTRONEURODIAGNOSTIC TECHNOLOGIST 2 (100% FTE, Day Shifts).

The Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist 2 independently prepares the patient for and performs routine, special and complex electroneurodiagnostic and other surgical electrophysiological examinations, such as evoked potential studies, intraoperative monitoring and functional cortical mapping, recording electrical activity arising primarily from the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, or somatosensory systems using a variety of techniques and instruments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform technical interpretation of data and relates findings to physicians and/or neurophysiologist.
• Develop and standardize procedures for use in the clinical and operating room settings.
• Train END Technologists I and students.
• Participate in clinical investigative or research activities.
• Perform scheduling and other duties as needed.

DESIRED:
R.EEG T, R. EP T, or CNIM certification from ABRET

REQUIREMENTS:
Successful completion of an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation AND one year of experience in a laboratory performing clinical electroneurodiagnostic tests

OR

equivalent education/experience.
