More about the Pathways CNA training:

  • Our program provides course work, labs and clinical training, and placement in a nursing home with one of our trusted partner employers so that you can learn hands on skills.
  • We support you as you prepare to pass the CNA exam with ease!
  • From start to finish, the CNA Pathways training program will prepare you for state exams within weeks, so that your pathway in healthcare gets started off the right way.
  • Training will be offered in both Bellingham (January) and Tacoma (February).
  • Coursework, labs and clinicals are provided with no fees to the student.
  • All course materials, books and scrubs provided by CNA Pathways.
  • Financial support for childcare and/or transportation may be available for qualifying students.
  • PROGRAM SPECIAL! CNA Pathways will pay CNA exam and licensing costs for completing students.
  • At CNA Pathways, we believe in “earning while you learn”.  You will be paid while you are studying, practicing, and learning the role of a CNA.

At CNA Pathways we know most students cannot afford to stop working to do a training course. We know that training is also one of the only ways to begin a new career. That’s why at Pathways we believe in the “earn to learn” approach.

  • Most students will earn a training wage of $16-18 per hour for all classroom and clinical hours.
  • You will earn while you learn!
  • Students who complete the program and their state CNA licensing requirements will immediately receive a raise to the Union CNA wage rate!
  • Job placement is part of the program at CNA Pathways!
  • Once you complete your coursework, labs and clinical (how many weeks?), and then take the test you will be licensed as a CNA and
    • CNA wage: $20-$24 per hour (depends on experience)
    • Guaranteed job placement in our preferred network of employer partners
    • All CNA Pathways job placements are union jobs with good wages, guaranteed raises, benefits and the protection of a union contract!
